Learning Styles


There are four learning styles based on different ways students perceive information. For some, it is easier to visualize information, for others, it is all about reading.
The VARK model stands for:
  • Visual Learning: Visual learners in our school like to observe and see the things that they are learning learning about. they like to use pictures, diagrams and written directions to access information.
  • Auditory Learning: Auditory learners in our class learn best by listening and relating information to sounds. They prefer listening to lectures or recordings and think out loud.
  • Reading / Writing Learning: Reading / writing learners like to learn using written words. They like to express themselves by writing. They enjoy reading articles or writing diaries or journals.
  • Kinesthetic Learning: Kinesthetic learners learn by experiencing and doing, they like to use their hands and bodies as learning instruments. they may seem wiggly at classroom.
